Wheel of Time

Rand Al'Thor is just a simple farmer from the Two Rivers, a village where nothing eventful happens, aside from the occasional glee-man coming in during their annual festival. Everything changes for him when his home is attacked by Trollocs and he, 3 of his friends, a mysterious woman, and the village wisdom, must flee from the Two Rivers. Thus begins the expansive collection of Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan.

Yet another set of books that i simply cannot put down, i've read the first few of these books a while back, and i just recently picked them up again. I flew through the first 3 books, and i'm now on the fourth and let me tell you, They're AMAZING the story from the outside doesn't seem to really be anything special, just another sword and magic book. But it is so, so much more than that, it's filled with side stories, wonderful dialogue, richly painted imagery that makes you feel like you're actually there with the characters experiencing their hardships. Overall i can recomend this book to anyone who enjoys a good sword and sorcery book, or anyone who enjoyed lord of the rings. Check it out!
